    Small Bear Press | Buy a copy I am so excited that my latest book is coming out, everyone. The River Bank is a sequel to Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows, but with girl animals as well as our old friends, Mole, Water Rat, Toad and Badger. Small Beer press published it, with charming art by Kathleen Jennings. It’s sort of for kids, sort of for grownups, and I hope you like it.     Generally, it’s been a good 2017! Get Your Copy The Dream-Quest of Vellitt Boe came out from Tor Books in 2016, and this year it’s been nominated for the Nebula, Hugo, Shirley Jackson, and World Fantasy Awards. Un pont sur la brume — the French translation of my novella, The Man Who Bridged the Mist for Bélial received the 2017 Gran Prix de l’Imaginaire for best foreign short work. The Prix is the premier award for Francophone speculative fiction. Read more…
