Ever since I rediscovered the amazing Josephine Tey in Edinburgh, I have been reading a lot of classic mystery novels. Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö, Ngiao Marsh, Dorothy Sayers — and now Robert van Gulik. I know I mentioned him a few days past, but I had forgotten how many of them there are! Between Marsh and van Gulik, I am set for quite a while. What is it about these old crime novels?
I am also reading Icelandic travelogues from 1809; the latest issues of Car & Driver and Motor Trend, and my perennial read-myself-to-sleep story, The Hobbit. And watching The Good Place.
I have so many pictures for you! Soon, I hope. I promise.
